Their love could move mountains.

I met Ashton just over a year ago from show casing in a bridal show. We met for coffee shortly after and hit it off instantly, it was like a first date basically (kidding!) but we did have a great time meeting. She told me all about her Fiance Jeff and how he plays professionally hockey, about their wedding they are planning and what it’s like a little to have a long distance relationship (sometimes). Ashton and I stayed in touch checking up on eachother every couple months, she even went to visit Jeff in Scotland while he was playing and then they traveled around Europe for a month or so. I follow her on instagram so it was wild to follow their loving adventures they had together. When it came to the engagement session and finally meeting Jeff it was so funny and nice cause I felt like I knew so much about him already but never met the guy. Meeting him for the first time I found out Jeff is incredibly compassionate and so affectionate towards Ashton it will make your heart burst. Sometimes I can’t even handle all the love I see! These two were so relaxed during the session is was perfect and ideal to how I hope most couples can be in front of the camera. I know it’s definitely awkward especially for your first time but they just knew to pay attention to each other and thinking about how they felt for one another just set the tone and made for a beautiful evening in the mountains. Can’t thank the two enough and I am beyond excited to be apart of their day and to be Banff wedding photographer this June!
