Where to start? When Jeff told me he was going to propose to Carolyn Ir was so hard to contain my excitement and not ruin the surprise. I love these two so much, they are the best of friends, and are like family to me. I feel so lucky and honored to have been asked to shoot their wedding next September, but for them to also ask (in the cutest way) for my two little girls to be flower girls and my husband to be a grooms man. I know I am in for it and it’s going to be the most wild and loving day next year, but I could not be happier for these two.
Our sunrise session out in the mountains is something I don’t get to do very often as not everyone is a morning person, but these two were and especially their adorable dog Yoshi. We endured the chilly morning but filled it with warm embraces and that soft warm sunlight coming in from the east. Jeff and Carolyn will be having a church wedding next fall so I asked them if they would write a small letter to each other. It was such a nice moment between them, as well as the take home they get to keep forever and an almost substitute for those who don’t write their own vows on their wedding day. I can’t thank you enough for spending the morning with me, being my friend always and just being the amazing people you are.
